Ring of Fire

$1,250.00

Ring of Fire’ was created as a response to the devastating fires that raged through Victoria in 2019-2020. While trying to show the horror and traumatic consequences of fire, the artist also tries to depict the resilience of the human spirit and the hope of resurrection from the embers. The intensity and uncontrollable nature of the fires surround the human features that are emerging from the singed leaves. Browned roses form a wreath for the death of flora, fauna, habitats and human life.
