I’m always looking for where dreamscapes and the sensual body meet through the re-interpretation of ancient symbols. Watching a deep red rose come to full bloom and decay in my vase, photographing its transformations, selecting images to blend and overlay textures, seeing what is revealed and what is hidden through this process of curiosity and discovery. Noticing how the sensual and imaginal resonates, being open to what may be discovered in this new and mysterious world.

Artist Bio
My artistic practice explores the intersection of inner and outer landscapes. I’m inspired by the timeless, elemental natural world, feminine archetypes, and women’s rites of passage. I create liminal, layered and textured images as a re-imagining of our relationship and connection with both the mythic and natural worlds. My work is of photographic origin, then put through layers of treatments to arrive at a place more in keeping with a dreamscape. I have participated in several group shows during the past 10 years, including at the Ballarat Foto Biennale Fringe Programme, COPACC and Apollo Bay Arts Inc Gallery.
