Guardians of the Harbour -SOLD!

Seeing these geese roaming freely around Apollo Bay Harbour reminded me of earlier times, when we lived much closer to livestock. I thought about the paintings of village life by the early Flemish painters, so chose to give them an old world treatment, evoking simpler times.
