Ebb and Flow
$280.00
Ebb and Flow is a contrast piece using the process called a Pot Melt, whereby glass is melted and allowed to flow through holes in terracotta pots. The colours melt and merge, and form a flowing stream of glass to finally reach the surface below and solidify. Each side has it’s own story, but they meet in the middle in a smooth line.

Artist Bio
Jan Verouden is an Otways based glass & mixed media artist whose works can be seen in Galleries around Victoria and Tasmania, & in private homes internationally.
As a traditional & contemporary artist originally trained under a Realist in pastel and pencil, Jan’s works reflect both structure and freedom.
Jan dabbled in Glass art before taking an opportunity to learn from a leading American Glass Artist at Axess Glass. Since then Jan has continued to experiment, learn and challenge herself in Glass art. A recent workshop in Lost Wax Glass Casting has reinvigorated Jan’s love of glass.
Jan enjoys experimenting with other mediums and has undertaken an Encaustic (& Mixed Media) workshop that has taken her work to another contemporary, artistic and professional level.
