Artist Bio
Basketmaking became a passion when I joined BASKETMAKERS OF VICTORIA in 2003.
I did workshops and met basketmakers who inspired me. When I moved to Aireys Inlet in 2007 I started a group to teach people
what I knew about basketmaking.I have been studying the local vegetation and my home garden has expanded to include grasses ,
vines and leaves that I can use for basketmaking .Learning the craft of basketmaking has been a rewarding and wonderful experience
and I enjoy gathering plants and other materials that I use in my sculptural pieces and baskets .
