Winter view to the Cape

Over Winter we took a guided walk at local sanctuary Wildlife Wonders. The view from the open grassland hill to Cape Otway was spectacular, perhaps more so in the grey skies and rain. It’s a view that’s ‘hidden’ from Apollo Bay, only visible from certain parts of the Great Ocean Walk, or from Wildlife Wonders.

Artist Bio
I have been interested in many creative outlets all my life.
I was taught the fundamentals of drawing by my grandmother, a watercolour artist, but did not pursue art as part of my formal schooling.
As an adult I returned to drawing when studying Interior Decoration. This rekindled my love of sketching and drawing, which lead me to pick up watercolours, then try painting in acrylics and oils.
I am endlessly inspired by the beautiful land and seascapes around Apollo Bay, but also have a deep love of still life.
