This work explores the light in the Otways rainforest during the summer of 2022-2023 – it was spectacular and ever changing. Early morning and evening light provided endless variations of orange, pink and yellow. White gums shine pink and at times the whole forest turned tangerine.

Artist Bio
Jen Hyatt creates intuitively using painting, drawing and photography. Jen is inspired by the colours, contrast, light and layers of the oceans and rainforests where she lives on Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. Her work is an exploration of texture and mood, responding to the immense beauty of her surrounds.
