Artist Bio
I have been involved in the Arts for many years, as an Art teacher. potter and painter. Over the past 10 years I have turned painting, canvases finding inspiration from my surroundings in the Otway Ranges and the vast images offered by the coastal areas. Travel is also highly motivational in Australia and abroad collecting photographs and sketches along the way. Works range from 30cms( which can be displayed collectively) to large canvases using mixed media. Layers of impasto texture with inks, pastels, washes and oils. Abstract and figurative pieces depict landscapes and figures. Greeting cards of the canvases are also available.
