Sitting down after a sunset surf at ‘The Wall’

Inspired by the artists evening surfs throughout the Summer of 2022 when the incoming wave would break at the harbour wall and cruise calmly into shore at low tide. After having had her daughter Summer, surfs at the wall on a longboard was the best and most special way to get back into her favourite hobby.

Artist Bio
Georgie’s artwork is inspired by the environment around her. From the butterflies she works with as an ecologist to the vegetables her husband grows in the garden. She works with a mixture of different mediums but has recently been enjoying watercolours to depict the various local butterfly species she has been identifying as part of the Otway Coastal Butterfly `1project she runs with the Threatened Species Conservancy.
