”Ocean Soul” was created to bring that same relaxing and calming feeling you experience when by the ocean. Hearing the waves crash on the shore, feeling the wind softly against your skin, and the sand beneath your toes, and having your mind enter a peaceful state. Did you know that being by the ocean improves one’s heath and wellbeing, and relieves stress? Through this artwork, Sonora wished to recreate this feeling for those who cannot visit the ocean daily, yet still wish to feel the calmness it brings.

Artist Bio
Originally coming from northern Europe – Latvia, Sonora has always had a passion for art and creativity. Growing up by the Baltic sea has left a strong impact on her artistic spirit. She spent years creating abstract paintings in various techniques, and after moving to Australia, Sonora started working with resin and creating seascapes. Drawing inspiration from both the beautiful coastline of Australia, and the feeling the ocean brings, Sonora wishes to inspire the viewers of her art, and bring a calming energy to their souls, minds and homes. ”I don’t paint specific beaches or oceans. My main goal is to recreate the same calmness the ocean brings through my art.” Says the artist.
