neckpiece – 1920s glass circles

I like to make pieces that will allow the wearer to feel a sense of protection from the outside world. Getting dressed and wearing one of my neckpieces, I wish for the wearer to feel safe, taken care of and ready to tackle anything that comes their way. This piece features handmade sterling silver chain with the solder joins softened, not made invisible. I wish for the solder joins to mimic the fusion line of where the glass has been joined.
