Looming is one of the artist’s exploratory works concerning the Bellarine coastline. It was created during a period of unseasonal rain in the area in late 2021. Inspired by Turner, Looming describes the awesome majesty of nature as it interacts with and diminishes residential development.

Artist Bio
Ann McGinley has a Masters from the VCA (2018). She has exhibited in group shows in Melbourne, Japan and France. Since moving to Geelong her work focuses on the intersection of the natural and built environment.
