Towering cliffs and crashing waves heighten my senses making me feel minute in this world. A small figure standing in this huge landscape that does not feel real. Sometimes this place is so windy and wild it is hard to stay in one place as it batters and knocks you off your feet, hair slashing across your face as you seek to observe. Today the wind is absent, and I stand fixated as the waves roll in crashing on the sand and the distant clouds begin to roll in before night fall. This landscapes personality changes and today I portray calm on the canvas.

Artist Bio
Painting for over 20 years I enjoy exploring the awe of the natural world. Living in the Otway’s amongst the beautiful forest and the coast allows me the opportunity to observe and explore the changing weather and seasons. I paint in situ as it heightens my sensors as I dance with hands and paint brush across the canvas and respond to the environment around me.
