Taking inspiration from a prompt to create a landscape within an art class I was taking in year 10, I wanted to capture the striking vibrancy and harsh lighting of the Australian landscape. Looking at the works of John Bradley and his creative process to capture the essence of the Australian environment, I wanted to recreate how freely Bradley used colour even while creating a realistic landscape. Overall, I ended up really liking this work and even was chosen to have it put onto the cover of the highschool diaries for the year.
