This is a drawing from my imagination of the creatures I imagine to inhabit the Otway’s bush all around ,a friendly tree spirit communing with birds. I was listening to Xavier Rudd’s song Follow the Sun and felt inspired to bring colours from the ocean bush and sky together to express this uplifting tune.”Tomorrow’s a new day for everyone” let this feeling of love gratitude and peace flow into and from all beings.

Artist Bio
Lyndi’s arts practice includes a love of a wide range of mediums especially drawing, colour play and textile art forms. She loves poetry and the magic in nature all around her home on Gadubanud country in Skenes Creek amongst the tall Grey gums and close to her salty sea friends. She learnt to weave some of her techniques from Aunty Browen and others in training as a school textile teacher. She recognises the need to pay respect to all the wise elders who imparted their knowledge, stories and skills to her in her lifetime and the natural landscape from which she draws much inspiration. She meets weekly with other artists as a part of Studio Forrest a collaborative community arts project and is an active member of Apollo Bay Arts Inc.She has exhibited in various galleries and sold work in the last 6 Apollo Bay Art Shows.
