We are very fortunate in Australia to have such a wide variety of beautiful birdlife, particularly the many species of parrots. Their brilliant plumage makes a wonderful subject for the artist.
I have depicted them in a setting showing evidence of human occupation as these birds are often found around farms, as well as urban areas.

Artist Bio
A keen interest in wildlife, particularly Australian birds, is reflected Lyn’s detailed watercolour paintings. The bushland setting of her home provides much of her subject matter and additional inspiration comes from regular trips to other parts of Australia.
Lyn has painted professionally for 20 years and has been the recipient of numerous art awards and commendations. She has been featured on television and in articles in newspapers and journals. Paintings have also been reproduced on calendars, greeting cards, bookmarks, craft kits and as limited edition prints.
