Artist Bio
I’m interested in painting the light and colours of land and seascapes as they change through seasons, the time of day or weather. Seascapes feature strongly in my work as I love the coast of Australia, and especially the birds that fly here. Born in New York, I have been painting in watercolours since I was 12 years old. My first career was teaching art in secondary schools (so long ago now!), and I am semi retired now, spending as much time creating as I can. I have exhibited in Victoria in galleries and local art shows, including the Meat Market Art Gallery, Gryphon Gallery Melbourne, and in many local exhibitions held in the Otways, Apollo Bay, Diamond Valley and Echuca region.
