Penola Rains
$180.00
The town of Penola in South Australia has seen some great hardships from years of drought to huge rainfall totals that inundate the landscape.
Lighting, thunder and torrential rain have seen this part of the country survive and thrive. My memory of those rains are reflected in this piece and how sometimes locals struggle against the odds.

Artist Bio
Steve recalls his life experiences through the lens of the abstract and in doing so wants the onlooker to share in that journey of emotion and connection. He understands the link formed through abstract art is like squinting at real life and creating a space in time where the connection is made. Painting from a home studio, Steve gathers and projects his many thoughts and experiences to the canvas in a way that utilizes colours and shapes assembled together as one. There is always an image or two waiting in Steve’s subconscious that needs to escape and be part of another person’s journey.
