We all know there is something majestic and special about whales. They are such beautiful animals and the fact we get to see a glimpse of them if you are lucky here in Apollo Bay and surrounds is even more special. I used only 2 different shades of blue inks in this piece but so many different shades appear on the surface, this is what makes alcohol inks so interesting. Alcohol ink on Yupo Paper. Frame from Mulbury frames made from reclyed wood around Melbourne areas.

Artist Bio
Talisha McCann moved to Apollo Bay 4 years ago to be closer with her family. She has always been very creative whether its putting something on paper or on stage. She runs dance classes to the local kids in town as well as owning and running the art and craft store in town called Terra Craft (@terracraftshop). She loves to surround herself with colour and creativity which she also shares with her 3 year old son. This is her first time in entering in her works to the Apollo Bay Art Show and brings some colourful imagination to her work as well and using her favourite medium alcohol inks and trying out acrylic paints on canvas for the first time!
