Death can come unexpectedly, without notice and without time to say goodbye. From Presence to Absence examines the physicality of sudden death and the lived experience of ones own pain. This intimate yet collective encounter with the many faces of grief reflects on death as a precipice for the unknown. The work visually addresses the experience of loss and contemplates the act of dying, providing an emotive space in which to confront things that can no longer be avoided.
