Waterlilies at Byron

These beautiful waterlilies do not have the glamorous story of those from Monet’s Giverney Gardens. I spotted them during a birdwatching walk at the Byron Bay Wetlands. The place is teeming with life, a great example of how a sewage treatment plant can create a natural habitat worthy of being captured on canvas
