This is an image that’s been in my head for some time now since having the birth of my son 3 years ago and never having the space or time
to sit and paint it out. After opening up my art store Terra Craft in town I was able to finally put something on a canvas. 2019 & 2020 were probably the toughest years of my life with my mother having a stroke and other complications and being pregnant and taking that journey mostly on my own was challenging and this represents that strength will triumph over weakness in tough times.

Artist Bio
Talisha McCann moved to Apollo Bay 4 years ago to be closer with her family. She has always been very creative whether its putting something on paper or on stage. She runs dance classes to the local kids in town as well as owning and running the art and craft store in town called Terra Craft (@terracraftshop). She loves to surround herself with colour and creativity which she also shares with her 3 year old son. This is her first time in entering in her works to the Apollo Bay Art Show and brings some colourful imagination to her work as well and using her favourite medium alcohol inks and trying out acrylic paints on canvas for the first time!
