Lindy McCann has been a lifelong artist but has had to overcome much adversity to continue her artist’s journey: she had a stroke a few years ago, and continues on her recovery journey today. Lindy’s creativity and inner artist has remained, even though her physical body is restricted: Nevertheless, she persists!!
Lindy enjoys the process of the painting, the familiar slide of the paint on the page; the bursts of bright colours and abstract shapes. The paintings created by Lindy hold this natural beauty within them, a persistent and emotional vibrancy. Lindy draws much inspiration from views from her own window and deck: from Marengo looking over to Apollo Bay hills, their everlasting ‘hug’ over the small township.
Lindy lives at her home with her husband Mark, and their menagerie of pets. Her two loving daughters and their families live in and are a big part of her life and the community. Lindy is assisted in her daily life by a team of carers from the community as well.
